Design

It starts with the tried-and-true Uni-Q driver array, which places the tweeter in the center of the mid-range and bass cone. Using a "tangerine" waveguide, Uni-Q times the arrival of sound to your ears more coherently and dispenses sound evenly around the room, so the sound feels natural even when not in the stereo "sweet spot."

What about bass? Low-end bass performance is critical to achieving a full, rich hi-fi sound. The Q Series does not disappoint in that department, with larger roll surrounds and new suspension drivers augmented by passive radiators to bring bass impact to music and movie soundtracks. The Uni-Q drivers live in their own sealed compartment within the speakers to improve clarity, detail, and bass performance, allowing for a cleaner crossover design with excellent coherence between drivers.
