Technician/Installer
General Responsibilities:
The technician/installer will work independently and with a team towards the completion of project-based installations and service calls. This person will be responsible for the timely completion of daily tasks, procedures, and documentation they are assigned. The technician/installer should be professional, well organized and adept at balancing a range of tasks. The successful candidate must be hard working, computer proficient, have a clean driving record and be a real team player. We will train the right person.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Install audio/video/network equipment for commercial and residential clients
- Pull cable in both commercial and residential environments
- Terminate speaker, microphone, coax, ethernet and other low-voltage cables
- Install speakers, video displays, network equipment, cameras, and control equipment in both commercial and residential environments
- Troubleshooting of simple and complex systems
- Work with professional sound, video, and lighting systems
- Work with Residential A/V and control systems
Job Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in electronics, computer science, or related fields are a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years field experience
- Clean driving record and background check
- Proficient in the use of installation tools and equipment
- Detail-oriented and organized with a commitment to quality work.
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with projectors, screens, displays, wiring, cabling, etc. preferred
- Strong understanding of audio-visual equipment, networking, and automation technologies preferred.
