WAC Lighting
One of the areas seeing rapid innovation is smart lighting. LED technology, as you likely know, has revolutionized lighting in the last several years. Couple LED technology with all the advances in smart control, and you have new possibilities for illumination in both residential and commercial settings. WACs STRUT lighting is a complete system for creating inviting environments with light.
This modular system includes linear, spot, pendant lights, and more that can be used for ambient, task, and accent lighting. The unique design helps this lighting blend easily into modern and traditional decor with both surface and recessed installation. It also comes with a compact, powerful control system that gives anyone simplified control of individual, groups, or a houseful of lighting with the well-designed app. We’re highly impressed with the flexibility it allows us to design beautiful lighting for homes and businesses.
DPI Satellite MLS Projector
We first saw this unique projector design a few years ago and have been excited to see it come to market. The DPI Satellite MLS projector is a rethink of traditional projector design. DPI imagined: what would happen if you could decouple the optics from the light source and connect them remotely for flexibility in space utilization and installation? The DPI Satellite decouples these and connects them via fiber optic cable, allowing for a more compact projector box with the powerful brightness and performance of much larger projectors.
Some key advantages are less noise and heat in the room with power and heat moved to a remote location. Couple that with the ability to have modular RGB optics with 10,000 lumens of brightness, and you get a sense of the immense potential of this approach. We love seeing manufacturers thinking outside the box – literally and figuratively!
The AVA Smart Remote
Many leading smart home systems have sophisticated remote controls that combine buttons and touch screens for AV control and smart home management. Of course, many homeowners also opt for control from dedicated touchscreens and smart home apps on iPads, tablets, and smartphones. The new AVA smart remote aims to create the best of both worlds – the sleek, customized design of a remote control with flexible touchscreen capabilities and the open platform of Android with full access to the Google app store.
With beautiful anodized aluminum bodies and black or silver finishes, this is a flexible remote that we can fully program and customize with different devices and smart home features for your home. We think it's a game changer, giving you a flexible, open, programmable device that works across a wide array of home technology. With a built-in microphone and speaker, it's also perfect for voice control through various apps.
