Residential Sales Manager

General Responsibilities:

We are seeking a talented Sales Manager who will be responsible for audio-video system design & sales on a range of residential projects. Prospecting, cold calling, and networking in order to generate new business is a key consideration of the position. The Sales Manager will be provided with in-house support resources for the designing, engineering, integration, and installation of products. Additionally, other corporate supported personnel are provided for exclusive and semi-exclusive products. 

Responsibilities

  • Generate industry relationships and provide client assistance.
  • Grow and manage an existing account base of dedicated customers.
  • Conduct meetings with decision-makers to thoroughly understand client needs and to provide solutions.
  • Prepare proposals and bid specifications to strategically win new business.
  • Manage the sales process from initial meeting through closing including thorough documentation of client needs and future opportunities.
  • Develop project designs and initial job specifications.
  • Provide call lists, sales forecasts, and other reporting items as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Three or more years in the audio, video, and / or broadcast industry.
  • Three or more years of sales experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Possess strong written and oral English communication skills.
  • Ability to travel locally, attend industry events, and occasional seminars.
  • Be currently authorized to work in the United States.

Technician/Installer

General Responsibilities:

The technician/installer will work independently (and with a team) towards the completion of project-based installations and service calls. This person will be responsible for the timely completion of daily tasks, procedures and documentation they are assigned. The technician/installer should be professional, well organized and adept at balancing a range of tasks. The successful candidate must be hard working, computer proficient, have a clean driving record and be a real team player. 

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Complete complex audio/video installs, setup, and calibration
  • Control system design (control/lighting/shading) and theater room installation
  • Advanced troubleshooting of simple and complex systems
  • Advanced networking/data system design, install and setup
  • Complete programming of advanced systems
  • Support of legacy and/or third-party products and systems
  • Complete understanding of multi-room systems and setup 

Job Requirements:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly detailed, organized, and multitask driven
  • Ability to work rotating “on-call” service schedule
  • Excellent skills with desktop and mobile computing
  • Clean driving record and background check
  • Minimum of 3 years field experience
  • Solid experience with projectors, screens, displays, wiring, cabling, computer controls, rack-building; the complete AV equipment package.
  • Experience working onsite at customer’s business.
